Review the after purchase trigger emails with 20% discount
Today, I've decided to assess the effectiveness of our repurchase promotion. First, let's gather some statistics. As a reminder, on the 3rd, we initiated two automated emails for customers who made a purchase.
The results are quite promising with a conversion rate exceeding 10%. I see no need to make any changes to this automation. Let it continue running until the end of the month.
Review 4th of July emails
Now let's take a look at the results of the two one-time emails we sent on July 4th. I don't have high expectations for these emails since I rushed to launch them, but it's still intriguing to see the outcome.
As anticipated, the results are rather disappointing. My speculation regarding the reasons behind this is as follows:
- The first email was sent too late. People typically start preparing holiday decorations well in advance, around 1-2 weeks before the actual holiday.
- A holiday email should be sent as early as possible, ideally in the morning when people are enjoying their coffee. Throughout the day, individuals are less likely to check their phones or engage with their emails.
- It might be worth considering offering a small discount in celebration of the holiday. This could potentially generate more interest and engagement from recipients.
